The Montreal Branch has been an associate member of FADOQ for several years. As such, since 2011, our members have benefited from a contractual agreement allowing them to renew their FADOQ card at a preferential rate of $20, rather than the regular rate of $30.

We wish to inform you that, as part of a review of its governance, FADOQ decided at its annual meeting in June 2024 to end this option for associate members.

However, the Montreal Branch was granted a reprieve for 2025, which allowed us to maintain the preferential rate of $20 on an exceptional basis, despite the decision made in June 2024.

Therefore, as of the January 2026 renewal, FADOQ cards will be offered at the regular rate of $30, as determined by FADOQ.

We would like to clarify that this decision was made exclusively by FADOQ and was not the result of a decision by your Section Board. We wanted to inform you of this now, in the interest of transparency and to avoid any confusion during the renewal period.

In closing, we would like to remind you that it remains advantageous to maintain your FADOQ membership, given the wealth of services it offers, the diversity of its activities, and the many benefits available to its members.

As for your membership in the Montreal Branch of the FSNA, please note that our conferences and training sessions are “free of charge”.
