The Montreal Section is pleased to announce the election of Ms. Gisèle Tassé-Goodman as National President of the National Association of Federal Retirees. The election took place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, during a meeting of the National Board of Directors. She is the first woman to lead our large national association since its creation in 1963.

Ms. Tassé-Goodman brings extensive experience in governance, advocacy, and community engagement. A member of the National Board of Directors since June 2025, she has distinguished herself through her leadership, thoroughness, and commitment to the quality of life of federal retirees, veterans, and seniors across the country.

We offer Ms. Tassé-Goodman our sincere congratulations and wish her a successful term. The Montreal Branch looks forward to continuing to work with her for the benefit of all our members.
