On November 1, 2024, the administration of the PDSP will transition from Sun Life to Canada Life. The new contract with Canada Life requires mandatory positive enrolment. We are pleased to complete the initial positive enrolment on your behalf.

You may have already completed positive enrolment for the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) but benefit plans under the Government of Canada are separate and governed by different rules. As such, positive enrolment must be completed and maintained separately on all benefit plans.

Based on your feedback of the PSHCP transition, we’ve improved our approach for the PDSP transition in collaboration with the Government of Canada. We are confident this streamlined process will mean a seamless transition for you and your dependants.

What you need to know

There is nothing you need to do right now

There are no changes to your dental benefits as part of this transition.

Submit your dental claims to Sun Life

Continue to submit your dental claims and requests for the PDSP to Sun Life until October 31, 2024.
